This is a 20' camper van and I have averaged 10.2 l/100 km over 28,000 km. DEF (AdBlue) IS used in europe. All New HGV's use it as do many cars (VW Mercedes for starters) Fiat don't use it as far as I know. My favorite programme Multiecuscan does support some Dodge vehicles but the biggest is the Journey.
The MoHo diesel does not need adblue. Have found in our transporters it varies depending on how it is driven and guess it’s down to mpg sometimes we get an indicated 5000 but the. It goes up to 5500 and sometimes when the adblue is added it shows 6000 or 5500 miles.
Check viscous fans (large finned hub in the centre) with the engine hot and switched off. The blades should feel stiff to rotate, and should be free when the engine is cold. Viscous fan should be free to turn when the engine is cold, stiffer when hot. Check only when ignition key is removed.

Just had to spend ÂŁ1800 to fix this as 4mth out of Warranty. My check adblue system/start stop unavailable/amber engine management light/mileage to stop countdown came on afew weeks ago. Very long story cut short but found adblue leaking underneath and the outflow pipe has snapped off.
